Marion is a mother who shares about her experience of being a parent of a child with autism. I liked her book because although she tells her story from a faith-based perspective, she does not preach to me. She simply inspires me. Being a mother myself, of a child with a disability, it is nice to know that I am not alone. It's also nice to know that she acknowledges the importance of God in the journey of raising a child with special needs. Some Christian authors are so heavenly minded that they are no earthly good. This is not the case with Marion. After she shares, she shows that she cares. In the appendix, she lists many resources that provide access to technical information for disorders such as autism, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, etc. All in all, she provides her readers with inspiration and information.
